Twelve years learning it. Now it's my name on the van.
I came to painting after years in warehouse logistics. I retrained through Renzo, spent two years under a master decorator, and now run my own books across Bristol and Bath.
What hasn't changed: I turn up when I say I will, I keep the site clean, and I don't pack up until the details are right. Every quote is a fixed price in writing — no surprises when the job's done.

Ask your questionHow do you price a job?
I visit, measure, and email a fixed price within 24 hours. The price covers labour, materials, prep and clean-up — and it doesn't change unless you change the scope.
Do you supply the paint?
Yes, at trade cost. You're welcome to supply your own, or ask me to match a specific colour or brand.
How much mess should I expect?
Minimal. I protect floors and furniture, use dust-free sanding, and tidy at the end of every day. Most interior rooms are usable again the same evening.
Are you insured and checked?
£2m public liability, DBS checked, and Renzo certified. Certificates available on request.
How far ahead are you booking?
Usually 2–4 weeks for interiors, a little longer for exteriors in summer. Small jobs can often be fitted in sooner.
What areas do you cover?
Bristol (BS postcodes) and Bath (BA1–BA2). Ask if you're just outside — I often can.
Is there a guarantee?
Two years on interior work and five on exterior systems, against defects in workmanship.
